● Tri-flats Shank: round shank with 3-falts, which can be easily fit into power driver, drill and press drill, and provide effective grip strength.
● Widely Used: Perfect Step Drill Bits suitable for drill holes in various material： within 3mm/0.12 inch (Iron Plate, Copper Plate, Aluminum Plate); within 5mm/0.2 inch (Wood, PVC sheet, Insulation Boards). Not suitable for hard and brittle materials such as stainless steel, glass, tile floors, walls etc.

PS: Due to the large volume of the step drill, the main power transmission is the shank during use, so it is more likely to break if the shank is thin; The diameter of the conventional round/ triangular handle is 9mm, which can withstand large torque; If the diameter of the handle is a fast hexagonal handle, the diameter is 5mm, and the diameter of the narrowest part is 4mm, so it is easier to send a break during use, so we recommend customers to use a round handle/ three-surface shank.
